Metro, September 1, 2023 – Universitas Muhammadiyah (UM) Metro welcomed the arrival of 49 participants in the Batch 3 Merdeka Student Exchange Program (PMM) at Raden Inten II Airport on Friday, September 01, 2023. The arrival of students from various other universities marks the beginning of their learning experience at UM Metro for the next semester.
UM Metro Vice Chancellor I, Dr. Achyani, M.Si., said that this professional prophetic campus had prepared a team to welcome the arrival of 49 batch 3 independent student exchange participants.
“We are very pleased to welcome them to UM Metro. The Independent Student Exchange Program is an opportunity for students to study in a different environment, experience diverse cultures, and broaden your academic horizons. We hope they will be able to have a valuable experience while at UM Metro,” he explained.
In an effort to ensure the comfort and safety of PMM 3 participants, UM Metro has prepared a delivery service to their respective boarding houses. “The PMM organizing committee will be responsible for picking up all students from other universities and ensuring that they arrive safely at their respective boarding houses. The committee has also prepared ammunition either lunch or dinner at pick-up and also snacks at their respective boarding places,” he added.
The Student Exchange Program at UM Metro has become one of the effective ways to promote academic cooperation between universities and enhance cross-cultural understanding among students. With the arrival of Batch 3, UM Metro is committed to continuing to provide quality learning experiences and build close relationships with other universities in Indonesia.
