The PPK ORMAWA Himadikmi FKIP UM Metro team conducted its first learning at one of the literacy corner points, namely at KWT Rosalia, Ngestirahayu Village, Punggur District, Central Lampung. This activity is one of the outputs of the Kemdikbud-Ristek ORMAWA PPK program which was appointed by the Himadikmi FKIP UM Metro ORMAWA PPK Team. This training was held in the literacy corner of KWT Rosalia Ngestirahayu Village on Sunday, September 24, 2023.
Banana chips are one of Lampung’s culinary specialties. This is not without reason, because Lampung itself is known as one of the regions with the largest banana producer in Indonesia. Although it has spread to other regions, Lampung banana chips are characterized by their flavor and texture.
Lampung banana chips are snacks made from thinly sliced bananas and fried until crispy.
But Lampung’s banana chips have their own uniqueness and specialty compared to banana chips from other regions.
The bananas used to make Lampung banana chips are horn bananas or kepok bananas that grow abundantly in the area.
What makes them special in contrast to banana chips in other regions lies in the distinctive flavors that are available in several variants ranging from chocolate cheese, durian, strawberry, to balado.
This encouraged the PPK ORMAWA HIMADIKMI team to assist KWT Rosalia’s learning to carry out learning in the Literacy Corner, namely making chips with various flavors.
