Metro City ‘Aisyiyah Organization Strengthening Facilitation, UM Metro Rector: A Form of Administrative Order

Metro, August 26, 2023 – Universitas Muhammadiyah (UM) Metro welcomed and facilitated the ‘Aisyiyah Organizational Strengthening activity held by the ‘Aisyiyah Research and Development Institute (LPPA) of the Metro City ‘Aisyiyah Regional Leadership. The activity, which took place on Saturday, August 26, 2023, aimed to explore and discuss the Constitution and Bylaws of ‘Aisyiyah, as well as provide administrative training to members of the organization.

The event was attended by 157 ‘Aisyiyah members from various levels in Metro City starting at the Branch Leadership, Branch Leadership, and Regional Leadership levels. In his remarks, UM Metro Chancellor, Dr. Nyoto Suseno, M.Si. expressed her gratitude for the appointment of UM Metro as the venue for ‘Aisyiyah Metro City activities.

“I thank you for appointing UM Metro as a place for the activities of ‘Aisyiyah mothers. The presence of mothers here will certainly add to the life of this campus. Hopefully similar activities in the future will remain here. Ladies, don’t hesitate to use the facilities on this campus because the campus facilities also belong to the association so they belong to all of us. Therefore, UM Metro is always committed to fulfilling the rules of the association. However, if one day the association’s activities are rejected on this campus, it is not because we don’t care, it could be because there is renovation or it is used for campus activities that have been designed in advance, “said Dr. Nyoto Suseno.

Dr. Nyoto Suseno, M.Si. also expressed his high appreciation for ‘Aisyiyah’s dedication in developing itself through a deep understanding of the organization’s Articles of Association and Bylaws.

“In its long and valuable journey, ‘Aisyiyah has made a tremendous contribution in strengthening the role of women in various aspects of society. A deep understanding of the Articles of Association and Bylaws will further provide a strong foundation for the development of this organization,” she added.

This activity also involved a number of expert speakers, namely PWA Lampung Secretary Mrs. Endang Susilowati and UM Metro lecturer Gustin Padwa Sari, S.E., M.Si. Ak. The resource persons provided valuable insights to the participants regarding the importance of an accurate understanding of the Articles of Association and Bylaws in running an effective and efficient organization.

In addition to organizational strengthening, this activity also involves administrative training sessions that will provide ‘Aisyiyah members with provisions in running the organization’s administration properly. The training covers data management, archiving, internal communication, and other technical skills needed to run the organization.

It is hoped that through this activity, ‘Aisyiyah Metro City will further develop as a strong, independent organization, and be able to make a positive contribution to society. UM Metro is committed to continuing to support the development of ‘Aisyiyah and various activities that encourage the strengthening of women in various aspects of life.
