H. Wahdi Siradjuddin, Sp.OG. (K), M.H. confidently stated that in the city of Metro, the birth of great leaders who will bring positive changes to society will soon become a reality. Universitas Muhammadiyah (UM) Metro is at the forefront in realizing this vision by providing quality education to students who are future assets.<\/p>\n<p>UM Metro, which has now grown into an institution with 7 faculties and a postgraduate program, takes an important role in shaping students&#8217; character, critical thinking, and ethics. However, the mayor did not stop there. In his speech, he announced the long-awaited arrival of a new faculty, the Faculty of Medicine.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Metro City has great potential to produce great leaders in various fields, and UM Metro is the place where their journey begins,&#8221; said Mayor Dr. Wahdi Siradjudin at the opening of the Student Ta&#8217;aruf Period (Mastama) for the 2023\/2023 Academic Year at the UM Metro campus I yard on Wednesday, August 30, 2023.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ummetro.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/DSC07877-scaled.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-137820\" src=\"https:\/\/ummetro.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/DSC07877-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ummetro.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/DSC07877-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ummetro.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/DSC07877-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/ummetro.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/DSC07877-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/ummetro.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/DSC07877-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/ummetro.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/DSC07877-2048x1365.jpg 2048w, https:\/\/ummetro.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/DSC07877-255x170.jpg 255w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, he emphasized that the 1200 new students entering UM Metro have extraordinary opportunities to innovate and develop well.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Students are the backbone of this city&#8217;s future.
